As you may know, according to a recent change in the Themeforest free support policy, starting March 1st, 2016 all authors are only required to offer customer support for up to 6 months after your purchase date. Thereafter, should the user require any support beyond this allotted time, they will need to renew their support package.
As the wonderful user of Artbees Themes that you are, here’s what you need to know:
1- In addition to every buyer’s right to report bugs and have access to any item updates, the new policy ensures that authors of supported items will be available to help you with any questions or issues that arise during your support period.
2- The standard Item Support period is six months from the time of purchase and is included with all supported items sold after September 1, 2015. To help buyers adjust to the new policy, purchases of supported items made before September 1, 2015 also received six months’ Item Support, which was set to expire on March 2, 2016.
4- Accordingly we will add the feature to show the number of days remaining from the free support in your account page on Artbees Themes portal.
5- If you have an open ticket in the moment of expiration, you will be able to reply until your problem is solved. This will be free of charge.
6- The critical security fixes and all updates will be available for all users to download regardless of whether they have valid support or not.
7- In order to facilitate the item health and bug fixing process, users without a valid support plan will still be able to report bugs in our public forum.
8- LucidPress WordPress theme will retire on May 10, 2016, After which there will not be any support for the item (see the official announcement).
9- The new changes about support service will be applied from Tuesday May 10. Those accounts without a valid support plan won’t be able to open new support tickets after this date.
