When placing images with different orientations (landscape/portrait) or aspects (6x4, 16x9) the gallery looks strange with white space and images not ‘lining up’ correctly.
Please see this gallery as an example of how the different images are displayed correctly despite the fact some are portraits and some are landscape, there are even panoramic photographs that display correctly in the gallery without causing white space around the different dimensions of images.
If we try the same thing using gallery, the portrait images push the landscape images down and leave white space that looks ugly. The portrait images should not exceed the hight of the landscape images even if the file dimensions are larger than the maximum of the landscape images.
Can we please have an adaptive gallery that works better for photographs, otherwise our creativity is being reduced by having to upload the same orientation images.
